In 2022 Moskaluke shared the southern twang infused single ‘Knock Off’ before embarking on her first national headlining Mapdot Tour which saw sold out shows across the country. Melissa Livingstone
Hailing from the quaint little fishing village of Ucluelet, nestled off the coastline of Vancouver Island, BC, Melissa Livingstone is the epitome of what small-town country living truly exemplifies. With a population sign around 1500, there wasn’t much to do growing up except ride dirt bikes, spend time on the water, and dream big. After moving to Kelowna, BC, at 17, Melissa entrenched herself in the local music scene and instantly made an impact. After years of playing the local music scene, garnering her peers’ respect and hearing the music community’s praise, she decided to listen to her heart and follow her dreams to the epicentre of country music, moving to Nashville, Tennessee, early this year.
You would often hear Randy Travis, The Eagles, and Amy Grant on the radio dial in her family home growing up. But, once falling in love with country music as a teenager, Melissa would combine her early childhood influences with the honkytonk sounds of the early 90s and 2000s country to craft a sound that is uniquely her own. Blending the traditional elements of the artists she grew up admiring with a touch of modern-day flare. As a result, Melissa has developed a brand that can span generations and captivate music fans of all ages.
After the release of her 2021 single titled Gypsy Heart, Melissa was named BCCMA’s (British Columbia Country Music Association) artist of the month. She added that to a long list of accolades that include Denim on the Diamond Talent Search Winner, BCCMA Rising Star, and Female Vocalist of the Year Nominee. Her latest single, “Country Enough,” has surpassed 230,000 global streams and well over 750,000 views on TikTok.
Melissa spent this summer constructing her own Canadian tour that saw her electrify the stages of Dauphin Country Fest in Dauphin, MB. The Coca-Cola Stage at the prestigious Calgary Stampede, AB, as well as Sunfest Country Music Festival on Vancouver Island, BC. Melissa capped off her tour by headlining the OK Corral Cabaret in her hometown of Kelowna, BC. She recently had her debut performance at Nashville Tenessee’s illustrious Listening Room on September 17th, 2022.
Known not only as a cultivated entertainer, but also a skilled songwriter, Melissa has spent the past year honing her craft and creating new songs that she is excited to show the world. After spending the last few months in the studio, working tirelessly on her upcoming single, Melissa will be releasing her new music in Janurary 2023. Until then, you can follow and find Melissa on all major streaming and social media platforms.
