This professional stand-up comedian and talented impressionist has graced the stages of numerous comedy clubs, festivals, and corporate events in Canada, the U.S., and beyond, leaving audiences in stitches wherever he performs. His remarkable talent has earned him the title of one of Vancouver’s favorite comedians, as voted by the Georgia Straight and Westender “Best Of” Awards.
Maliha’s comedic prowess extends beyond live performances, as he has made appearances on CBC radio, XM and Sirius satellite radio’s comedy programs, and various television shows. In 2011, he broke through the television barrier with his stand-up, featured on Bite TV’s Stand-Up and Bite Me, followed by his one-hour Comedy Now special aired on CTV and The Comedy Network. His comedic brilliance was showcased on CBC television’s national broadcast of The Winnipeg Comedy Festival’s Characters Gala.
As if his achievements weren’t impressive enough, Maliha currently holds the world record for most impressions in one minute, surpassing former SNL cast member Dana Carvey. Adding to his accolades, Maliha and his two writing partners, Eric Fell and Shaun Stewart, co-wrote an episode of the acclaimed Netflix series Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Return. Their episode, ‘Cry Wilderness,’ garnered immense praise from both fans and critics and was honored as the ‘Best episode of 2018’ for the series.
