Starting from 2 PM, the Red Bird parking lot will be buzzing with excitement as Kelowna locals, Texas Major, gear up for their performance at 7 PM. This special event is a prelude to their Sunday show at Rock the Lake, where they’ll be opening for rock legends Tom Cochrane and 54-40. To celebrate their addition to the lineup, we’re throwing a massive party complete with a giveaway of RTL tickets and exclusive prizes.
Try your luck at the RTL putting green to win 3-day weekend passes to Rock the Lake, happening at Prospera Place from July 12-14, or snag festival gear like hats, crop tops, and tees before they’re available at the merchandise stands. The RTL brew crew will set the mood with a playlist featuring hits from Our Lady Peace, Theory of a Deadman, Daughtry, and more, creating the perfect build-up before Dying Breed and Texas Major take the stage. Dying Breed, opening for Texas Major, promises an electrifying set infused with punk, funk, and grunge, reviving the classic ’90s vibe with influences from Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Soundgarden.
