97 South Song Sessions is a magical music performance event, where you’ll hear the stories behind the songs that make up the soundtrack of your life. Award-winning songwriters and recording artists come together, acoustically in-the-round, to share tales of the creative journey that inspired their hit songs and perform them for you. The result is an intimate, show that is variously touching and humorous and guaranteed to be unforgettable.
The weekend series of shows will once again be hosted by media personality Paul McGuire and features hit Pop, Rock and Country songwriters from Canada and the United States. Lineup includes Kim Mitchell (Canadian Rock icon & Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee), Alan Frew (Multi-platinum songwriter & lead singer of Glass Tiger), Neil Osborne (Lead Singer of 54-40), Grammy Winner & Hall of Famer, Tim Nichols (Live Like You Were Dying/Tim McGraw), iconic Canadian songsmith and recording artist Marc Jordan (Rhythm of My Heart/Rod Stewart), longtime Sheryl Crow collaborator, Jeff Trott (Every Day Is A Winding Road, Soak Up The Sun) plus other great songwriters!
