Written by Scott Brown and Anthony King, “Gutenberg! The Musical!” follows the adventures of Bud (Corey Hendricks) and Doug (Josh Richardson), two aspiring playwrights, as they search for a Producer for their big, splashy musical about printing press inventor, Johann Gutenberg. (NO! Not actor Steve Gutenberg!)
Bud and Doug have invited a room full of potential Producers to try to entice them into signing a Broadway contract, but being on a budget Bud and Doug must perform all the characters and sing all the songs in their crass, historical epic. As you can imaging chaos and comedy abound!

“Gutenberg! The Musical!” is directed by Angela Quinn and Produced by Ed Schneider. Musical Direction by Justin Glibbery and featuring live piano accompaniment by Neville Bowman and Dennis Norlund.
“Gutenberg! The Musical!” was a huge hit when it played on Broadway in 2023 and was nominated for a Tony Award! This is a premiere musical presentation, a first for Many Hats!
“Gutenberg! The Musical!” opens July 12th and runs to August 4th with performances Friday and Saturday at 7:30 (Doors open at 7:00) and matinees on Sunday at 2:00 (Doors open at 1:30).
Ticket holders for opening night, July 12th, will be treated to a post-curtain meet and greet reception featuring wine from Hester Creek Winery, craft beer from Cannery Brewing and a selection of tasty treats!
