Although Brent “Sugarlump” Applegath has been playing and singing for many years, his evolution into a fulltime musician has been a journey. A lifetime of exploring multiple genres has leant “Sugarlump” a body of eclectic tunes. Inspired by the haunting sounds of slide-guitarists such as Ry Codder, Mark Knoffler, Harry Manx, Lowell George, Keb Mo, and Johnny Winter, Brent has written and adapted songs to his unique bluesy style.
