DOWN THE LEES

Down the Lees, initially Laura Lee Schultz’s solo project in Vancouver, evolved into a 3 piece live band during her time in Belgium. With three albums and an EP spanning various genres, the trio embarked on a European tour in 2020, captivating audiences with ‘Bury The Sun,’ recorded by Steve Albini. Amidst the pandemic, they regrouped in the Okanagan Valley with Chris Carlson on bass and Andy Ashley on drums. Shared/sharing stages with notable acts (Brutus, Dead Bob (NoMeansNo, Chastity) and secured the Best Song award at the Okanagan Screen Awards 2023 for “Douse.” Their EP “DIRT”, produced by Jesse Gander of Raincity Recorders (Brutus, Japandroids), releases May 3, 2024 on Off White House Records.
