Celebrate your passionate side with this authentic Flamenco Dance class! Flamenco is
a dance form originating in the South of Spain created mainly by Gitanos (gypsies) who
blended various elements from different cultures into this fascinating art form.
This special class will take place in the gorgeous, lower level speak easy at Vibrant
Vines; mimicking traditional Tabloas (traditional Flamenco venues) that are all over
southern Spain. Come enjoy a drink before or after class; there will be time for Q&A with
instructor Amira as well.
This introductory level class is open to Every Body and all abilities. We will explore the
basic movements needed to complete a short dance. Flamenco is a wonderful place to
explore self expression with lots of room for individuality.
No special attire required but Spanish style dress completely welcomed.
Either flat supportive shoes or chunky heels will work wonderfully. This will be held in The Vibrant Vine’s Jacko’s Underground Lounge!
