About the Artist – WiL (www.ibreakstrings.com)

His shows have been coined as legendary; his guitar style; ‘mesmerizing’; captivating listeners with his unusual strumming technique while creating lush, fat and full acoustic guitar sounds that have become signature to the live experience. With countless shows under his belt, and a few sweet accolades that include penning ’Roam’, the award winning anthem for Travel Alberta and ‘Ride’, The Calgary Stampede’s 100th year anniversary song there is still no place more revered than ‘the stage’. On this platform the fiery, silver bearded west coast based frontman heads up the Indie folk rock outfit known as WiL.

About the Venue

The Gateway Ranch was established in 2019 on a rugged 10 acre property nestled in the mountains of the Similkameen Valley, 3000ft above sea level.

Amidst Crown Land and cattle range you get the feeling you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only a half hour away from Oliver, Penticton or Kermeos. It is the ideal place for small gatherings and musical events. When the owner, Shannon, saw WiL live in concert at An Evening In the Valley’ in Summerland, she knew that WiL would be a perfect fit.

What to Bring

Bring your own chair, snacks, blanket and refreshments and we supply the music and the breathtaking view!

Parking is in the field beyond the cattle guard…so wear appropriate footwear. Gates at 5:30 – WiL at 7pm.
