STEVE SMITH:
A veteran performer of 34 years; hailing from Cape Breton Island, (but now living in Vernon), Steve is the frontman for 15-year-running Celtic band, Maritime Kitchen Party.
His style of music is based on traditional influences from the East Coast, and other Canadiana such as Blue Rodeo, Stompin Tom Connors, Stan Rogers, the Tragically Hip, and many more but his live shows incorporate rock, country, folk covers and other crowd pleasers. He even takes requests, throws in some humor and leaves them wanting more.
Steve has opened up for or shared the stage with many musical greats over the years including: Kim Mitchell, 54-40, Blue Rodeo, Trooper, Big Sugar (twice), Finger 11, The Sheepdogs (twice), Great Big Sea, and more.

From soulful sounds to tunes filled with fierce joy, Shamma plays it all. Shamma hascontributed bluesy vocals and haunting fiddle sounds to collaborations far and wide, includingOkanagan favorites Cod Gone Wild, The Trips, Songs of the Southern Belles, Maritime Kitchen Party and the Layer Cake Mountain Band. A passionate ambassador of Canadian fiddle music, Shamma has used her background in Clinical Psychology to craft her recently released second book in the Once Upon a String fiddle series, perfect for beginning fiddle and violin learners of all ages.
