Moonlight Jazz Society is proud to present vocalist and educator Danielle Evjen!

With a smooth warm tone that begs the ear to listen, this jazz beauty is completely in her element. Listeners describe her voca style as the connection between sassy, sweet, and baked in elegance. Danielle began her own musical training on the organ at the age of seven, and quickly moved into the role of instructor at age thirteen. She has now become one of the most sought after piano and early childhood music instructors in the Okanagan Velly, with nearly twenty years of teaching. She is inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Holly Cole and enjoys time with her husband and two daughters. MJS is so thrilled to host and present Danielle Evjen in what will be her first concert back since the pandemic!

Moonlight Jazz Society (MJS) is a NEW non-profit focused on facilitating connection between primarily composers and arrangers, venues, and audiences to foster synergy in the local and provincial jazz community.

In its second year, the Moonlight Jazz Society looks forward to supporting an amazing lineup of touring jazz artists at the Vibrant Vine’s cozy wine and meal-centred environment, and adds a Sunday series to its efforts with all ages emerging artist pop-up concerts at the French Cultural Centre in downtown Kelowna. Coffee, tea, desserts and a place to support our youth will have both series offer up different yet equally as enjoyable vibes.
