Players Choice Sports proudly presents Comedy for a Cause, a high-energy evening at Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge featuring five of Kelowna Comedy’s top comedians, all performing in support of the Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmakers (OSIF) and their transformative Script to Screen Contest.
Every dollar from ticket sales goes directly toward the contest’s prize package — helping local filmmakers turn their scripts into fully realized films.
What is Script to Screen?
Script to Screen is an OSIF initiative designed to champion independent filmmaking in the Okanagan. Filmmaking teams submit scripts and detailed applications to a panel of industry pros. The top project(s) will receive a robust prize package to help bring their story to life.
Whether selected for the top prize or not, all teams are encouraged to complete and premiere their films at OSIF events — truly taking their vision from Script to Screen.
