The Broke Wokes combine crowd work and stand up comedy into a uniquely funny show. Two of Canada’s fastest rising stars, Faris Hytiaa and Conner Christmas (seen on CBC, Just for Laughs, Storyhive, and more), bring you laughs by performing together on stage. Individually they are forces of comedy, and together, they tear the house down; talking with the crowd, roasting each other and bringing on their favourite local comics to showcase their best jokes.
Together they are the ‘broke’ versions of ‘woke’. Two professional sh** talkers that love to laugh and have a good time. Separately Faris and Conner have both been named ‘New Faces of Canadian Comedy’ by the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival, and have been writing together for over 2 years. The Broke Woke Show is a culmination of their chemistry, quick wit, and love for jokes.
